Powell

We stayed at the Wahweap Lodge, a dream come true for me!! It was wonderful to be at Powell!!  We unloaded into the hotel and launched the boat!  It was so hot, everyone jumped in.  The kids and Ben jumped off a little ledge and we tubed some more.  We stopped at the dock for an ice cream cone and Lydia was covered!  More boating and then it was pizza and glow sticks, and fighting at the hotel,  everyone was so tired.  The next day we went back out on the lake, McDonald's for breakfast!!  We were all feeling a little sad knowing that this was our last day together for a while and we'd be going our separate ways.  We stopped at the dock for a hot turkey sandwich (meaning our provolone cheese was melting it was so hot!) and another ice cream cone.  We fed the fish and then went back out on the lake. 

 Lydia said her tummy hurts. She said, "It feels like there are birds in it." 

The kids were sitting on the boat by the dock trying to decide what to feed the fish, Ritz crackers, goldfish, bread? Lydia holding a water bottle, said, "I'll give the fish my water!"  HaHa  She calls to the fish, "Fish, fishy fish fish!"

About an hour before it was time to head in, the boat stopped running!  Beckee's words, "The V-drive snapped so a kind German man in a speedo (Julie gave us all a lesson on speedos haha!) and his family towed us back to the dock."  We loaded the boat again, changed into clothes, and then it was time to say goodbye.  We all cried!  Saying bye hurts so much!!
