Christmas is Coming

Destin for Thanksgiving

We left Saturday, November 19th after lunch. Josh had stuff to do on the house and we both got blessings Friday night at the Hollingsworths. It was better to leave Saturday calm and stuff completed then Friday stressed and things undone.
We stopped at this hotel. (The kids were anxious to get to FL!)

On the drive we received some resolution to some issues we were having. Great blessings!

Super cool big crab!

Those we knew in Destin: Leavitts, Miners, Taylors, some we met last year.

Goofy Golf
Mom & Lydia

Grant & Mom loved the paddle ball!

Moana and Smashburger before (SO FUN)!

Outside the theater.

Trying to get a picture of these crazies, sitting, when the lights turn on full color!

Accomplished

Blake brought his tooth pillow to Destin, he knew it was coming out! I love that he hung it on the bed.

Thanksgiving Day at Golden Corral

Ate early bc we were volunteering at Habitat for Humanity.

The kids did silverware.

The boys were helping bus tables.

Josh was a server. They had too many people helping and it was not exactly what we had thought it would be. They let us go early for lack of things to do.

Games and dessert in our condo.

Lydia's packing
Started driving home Saturday, Melanie informed us the bridge was closed due to a fire and traffic was terrible! They were stuck. We rerouted and drove through New Orleans. It was awesome to see it (made some of the kids nervous.) We stayed in the same hotel from the way down and finished the drive Sunday.  Found out, later that night, after we left Bourbon Street there was a shooting.
