Dance Pictures

Lydia and I went to dance pictures!  It was very fun! She was super excited! (not sure about the make-up though, and neither was I) As I curled her hair she looked in the mirror and said, "Mom I look like Elsa!"

We had a crazy Saturday! Josh ran to some rainy soccer games, I ran to Wendy's shower in Provo then we drove the boys to John's birthday, hit the mall and picked up the trailer from the Dastrup's apartment in Herriman! (Jake and Erin moved into our basement and Josh let them use the big black trailer!) We were hurrying home to let Derrik use our truck for Prom, which didn't end up happening because it was at the Capitol in SL!!

Lydia was getting tired and rested her head on Grant! Grant loved it!  Sooooo cute!!

Blake

Blake, Lydia and I were standing on the lawn! Blake blew a Dandelion and looked up at me and said, "I'm going to Disneyland!" I laughed because of all those pictures of Disneyland with the Dandelion blowing child!!!

Leo the Lion

Blake has been so excited to bring home Leo the Lion! We take pictures of Blake and Leo and write a page in the Kindergarten book! He wanted to introduce Leo to the chickens first!  Blake LOVES the chickens! He wants to hold them but is a tiny bit afraid to catch one!  

Trent's Recital

I had a baby shower/dinner Wednesday night and Trent's recital! I was under the impression I needed to be to the recital by 7:20! I arrived about 7:14 and he had just finished! I started to cry because I was SOOO upset! Trent's teacher had him play again at the end for me! Blake saw me crying and asked, "Are you crying mom because his music is so beautiful?"  Trent did a WONDERFUL job!!  (He even wore a tie!)

 We dyed eggs before church!

 We let Lydia choose between a pink dress (from Lizzy) and this skirt! Funny she chose blue because the boys ties match somewhat! Josh bought some ties and let them choose!!

Grant at the Zoo

Josh is awesome!! He took a day off to go to the zoo with Blake then today to go to the zoo with Grant!!!  After the zoo he had to go to the school for a maturation assembly with Trent!

Easter at the Reese's

We did an Easter Egg Hunt, painted plaster eggs and Easter Dinner at the Reese's on 2nd Sunday!

Ferron

We went to Ferron with the McAtees!  It was wonderful!  John took so many amazing pictures!!  He sent us pictures of the Hotel as we drove down.  Gilly's!  Trent threw up in the canyon!!  He is not usually our car sick guy!

 We went into the McAtees cabin (across the parking lot from our hotel/store) and Josh and Ruth played guitars! Lydia sang along and LOVED it!!!

In the morning we ate cereal in the park!

 Then played Simon, I think it is called!!  Very cool electronic game to be in a park in Ferron :-))

 Drove past The Cox House!

Headed up the canyon! Stopped at a spot where Dad had camped as a child!

After going up and coming back down we found the place to hike up and look for arrow heads! First we had sandwiches! Notice Josh McAtee and Blake!

But when we got to the top, it was a golf course, no more arrow heads!

We literally slid back down!!

 Lydia actually "skateboarded" down laughing her head off!!
