Wax Museum

Third Grade did their Wax Museum Friday! Each student had to pick a hero, read a book and do a report poster/presentation on that person! Trent's buddy Kobe did Magic Johnson.

Trent did Michael Jordan! It was so fun for all of us to learn about Michael! He had to give his presentation in first person! Michael is an awesome example of hard work and dedication! He did not have much natural talent and practiced like crazy! His father who was 5 ' 8 " said Michael willed himself to grow and turned out to be 6 ' 6 " !! Pretty awesome!!

Day After

Sunday night Lydia cried for over an hour and a half when I put her to bed!! She got so upset when Josh left to get his guitar she flipped out of the crib!! Poor baby! It was awful!!
Monday she was exhausted and I found her like this in the hall!!

Grant pulled out another tooth tonight!! #4 It was barely loose! He is cracking us up!!

St. George

We took off Thursday about 5pm very excited to see Grandma and Grandpa's new house!! Met the Mortensen's at Wendy's for dinner!! I turned around and Lydia was holding her sucker like this!!

Lydia had a hard time sleeping!! The boys really enjoyed some Cartoons! After letting Lydia sleep from 10am till 2pm Saturday, we went and rode the 4-wheelers . . .

and met the Hales at Marv's for dinner! Sunday we had Chuck-a-Rama (the boys favorite) before leaving!!

St. Patti's Day

First off, the Jensen's moved in with us! Sonny brought the kids Wednesday, March 14th! Friday was St. Patti's Day celebrations at school!! Will Herbert made Libia a leprechaun!! Too funny!! He loves Libia!!

Trent and Grant wanted so badly to wake Blake up to see the Leprechaun trail! I however wanted him to sleep! The Leprechaun went downstairs to the Jensen's too! The kids decided to share everything!! The craziest thing is that Tate went to sleep in his BYU shorts and basketball shirt and woke up in his underwear! He could not believe the Leprechauns took off his Jammies!!! He was truly stunned for an hour!!

Everyone was up so everyone came to the Lehi Bakery with me! So I ended up with MORE doughnuts then planned!!

The kids spent a good hour running all over the house trying to catch the Leprechaun that kept messing things up! McKinnon and Aniston were helping too! (I put an end to the chase!!)

We did some cleaning, I did some more cleaning while they played outside, then we all headed to the barn to meet the dad's! The plan was to clean, launch rockets, and ride 4-wheelers, but it was too stormy!! Josh and Sonny worked a while, the kids ran around, I put Lydia down, got Brinkley to babysit and took Little Caesar's to the barn!

That evening Josh and I headed to the Heaps Auction and Raschelle's birthday party at the Brick Oven! Sonny headed to a party and the kids all went to Miss Tanya's!! (Lydia was with us!)

Funny Guys

Lydia and I went to Pioneer Party and she stood at the top of the ramp and would not come to me! I could not figure out why! Then she sat down and bum scooted down the ramp!! I laughed!! She has done it twice in parking lots with Josh too!! He said she was funny about painted lines too!! Is she having depth perception problems?

Once Grant lost his first tooth, he knew he was onto a good thing! He wiggled hard and pulled out his second tooth March 12! He came into my room about 6am and said she hadn't come! I told him it was still dark and went to get a drink! When I came back in he said, "I think the tooth fairy just landed on the carpet!!" He pulled his 3rd tooth out March 18! If there is any wiggle in a tooth of Grant's, it is coming out!!

Grant went in to get Lydia one morning and came back and said, "Mom when I went in to get Lydia and she said, (using a small voice now) 'I want mommy' it was adorable!"

Grandma and Grandpa took the 2 big boys to a Jazz game on March 15! They LOVED it!!! Absolutely loved it!! The next morning Grant came into my room at 6am and told me all about it in detail! He was standing on the bed very passionate explaining plays and acting them out!!

All of us were laying in my bed early one morning and Blake said, "Mom we have lots of boys," left leg pointing "This one's Trent," and right leg pointing, "This one's Grant!"

Grant wanted to lay on the edge of my bed and I said no, I didn't want him to fall! He said, "For 8,000 years I have been on the edge of beds, well as long as I've been living!"

I made German Pancakes and they were HUGE . . the touched both sides of the oven and the door!! I should have gotten a picture before they fell!!

Lydia's Hands

When I lay Lydia down, she has her eyes covered with her two little hands!! Whether she is half asleep or awake she covers her little eyes!! I am loving this!! I was going to tell Josh about it today and he started laughing!! She has been doing it when he puts her down too!! So funny!!! Maybe she likes the dark!!

Horses

On our way home tonight the kids and I stopped to get Joslyn's mail! As I pulled away I saw horses trotting by! I stopped and looked, no rider, no rider, no rider, no one in the rear!! Just the 3 trotting down 1450 East! I flipped around and followed them! I shined my lights on them just outside the neighborhood on 104 North so no one would hit them! We followed them into the gully and back out! Two men saw them and I was hoping they would call someone . . . I was driving and trying to google the police dept. number!! The horses headed back down 1450 East! By Ro's house I stopped and talked to Lance Lemon, who was charting a boy scout course with a head flashlight and his son! The police showed up and Josh pulled into the neighborhood too!! He thought he might know who they belonged to!! He also told the police there were 2 mules and a horse!! The polices' response, "May as well be an elk for all we know about horses!!" Josh got them home!!

Car Show

We met Grandpa John at the Southtowne Expo Center for the CAR SHOW!! My dad had his new Speed 33 in the show!! I meant to get a picture of the kids, Grandpa and the Speed33 darn it!! We had a great time!! Grandpa bought a huge map of the US made out of license plates that I showed him! It is awesome!!!! Grant desperately wanted to buy a smaller version, printed, not real plates! We did not want him to spend his money!! The "map making welder man" gave it to Grant and me! He said in his thick accent pointing to my dad and the kids, that I had a nice family!! We thanked him and thanked him and told Grant that every now and again neat things happen when you control yourself!! (He was trying so hard and doing a great job!)

During the car show Trent turned to me and asked, "How do you think the Norwex would look if we wiped this whole floor?"
