New Year's Eve and Day

We went to Aunt Jen's house on New Year's Eve!  We celebrated at 9:30pm! (So Newfoundland's New Year!!)

Brenda and Rich Clark just moved to Herriman from Burbank!  Very awesome!! Brenda is Jen's childhood friend, everyone's really and a neighbor from Mountain Ave.!!

New Year's Day we tried to hit Walking With Dinosaurs, sold out! So the boys had an air soft war with Mckinnon and Brysen and Lydia played with Dylainee!  Josh and I were talking tile back splash in the kitchen and Lydia and Dylainee were playing with the dog! Really running from her and screaming! I went to the playroom and loved that they were in the basket!   

We had Maryssa babysit with Grandpa Verne while Josh and I went to La Coco's (106 So.) with people from Richmond! (Mark and Lexie, Jason and Tara, Matt and Cynthia)

Running into the playroom with her new Cinderella Barbie from Grandma Evelyn: Lydia said, "Trent watch out, here comes the Barbie ninja, hiyah!!"  (While she karate chops with Barbie's arms!)

We went to St. George from Friday, December 27th - Monday, December 30th! Lydia, "When we get to St. George I want to dance out in the yard like a princess with the boys!"

In St. George reading Giraffe's Can't Dance, Lydia said, "Giraffe's can't dance, well mom, he can do this," standing on the bed lifting her leg, "YMCA!"

Lydia, "I want to be one of the princesses in my princess movies!  Mom will you get a costume out of the dungeon when we get home and change me?"  BIG smile!!

Merry Christmas!!

The kids asked us to "wrap the door" this year! It was so fun!!  I think it helped them sleep better too, they knew they couldn't get out there!!  I love the excitement of Christmas!!!

Here is the Lego advent we did this year!   

We were THRILLED to have German Pancakes in our new kitchen!!  (Just thrilled to have a kitchen!)

Grandma and Grandpa Reese came to visit us and brought batteries!  Thank you!  Then Eric and Grandma Laura came to visit!  We played and went to Grandma Evelyn's house!!

Crazy year!  But we did it and we are happy!!!

Josh worked on Christmas Eve and beat us to Grandma Evelyn's house! We had a "Shepherd's Dinner," did Grandma's Christmas Program (songs and scriptures) and opened gifts!

We had a ham dinner and did the nativity!

Presents, then a visit from someone very special!  We had no idea Santa is 6'7"!  The kids tested his beard, REAL!!  He gave Lydia the bell off of Rudolph's collar!  She was thrilled!!
