Cougar Elite

Trent got the Cougar Elite at the Awards Ceremony! (The awards given could not have gone smoother after the tough basketball year! We were pleasantly surprised.) After the Ceremony the boys and girls had a party from 6-9. Pizza, basketball, volleyball etc. They canceled Veterans b/c of lightning.

Trent's 14

This stud is 14! Has to go to school and has a Spanish Final the last 2 full days of school! 

 I took him Chick-Fil-A for lunch! Sure love this kid!!

We went to Grant's Shark fining exhibition, he did awesome, got done earlier than expected and headed to the Olive Garden! We were too full for FroYoz (did that Thursday June 1st).

 We did presents when we got home. Trent was surprised and excited about the bluetooth headphones!

Couch Shopping

Blake found a theater couch he loves! Lots of cool controls! 

Went home got kids (they were starving), Langston was over, grabbed Little Caesars, cleaned the pool, dropped by Clara's grad party, needed Josh Mason to jump our car (kids turned on AC without turning car on waiting for me).

Sunday Josh and I visited Dean till 10pm, kids were frustrated when we got home, Josh still BBQ'ed burgers and we hurried and put everyone to bed.

Memorial Day we cleaned out closets in the morning, boys went to the church (Grant and Blake with blades), Bret Bowman stayed at the church with them (Trent, Grant, Blake, Javan, Jake Jensen, Brayden), I ran couch shopping, Brett took them all home, Allison fed them, they played video games, I picked them up, went to Dick's to shop for shirts for Trent's birthday, hit McDonalds, Whataburger for Dad, Neil and Josh Mason took to the house!

Blake came in 2nd overall! Did a great job!

Driveway

Driveway poured today! Allison's dog went running down and through the cement. She was chasing after her. The men were very nice and fixed it right away. Reminded me of Sammy (Hammy) at our 2445 house walking through our wet cement sidewalk to the front door. 

No School

Getting ready to pour the driveway. We did a little more cleaning at the house, b-ball at the church (Melanie Miner took the first shift, Evelyn and I took the second), Mighty Fine (where we saw the Canfields).

Evelyn left Tuesday the 23rd.

Rain and Propane

Grandma Evelyn came about midnight on the Thursday the 18th. Friday we went to field day and then tile shopping. Friday night to In N Out and to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Saturday was crazy: Grant had a soccer party at 10:30, it was pouring, dropped Grant and Blake at Dan's house, ran to get buckets at Lowes for Josh, dropped Eve, Trent, Lyd at house to clean, picked up Grant and Blake, hit Subway and 7-11, to the house, ran Grant to get a b-day gift for Logan, dropped him at JumpStreet, worked at the house, Josh left for Priesthood Stake Conference, took everyone home, picked up Grant and pizza, put a dress on and went to Stake Conference with Josh.

Kept raining! Sunday after Stake Conference Grandma did a little Skyping, we watched a Dog's Purpose, made cookies and went to check on the propane tank. It had tipped b/c its' hole filled with water. Josh tipped it back up with the machine in slippery flip flops as it started pouring!

We made a dam to send the water past the propane hole so it would not fill again before morning.

The boys headed to Chick-Fil-A with Mr. Justin and Baby Blake, then to the Benefields Property. I hit the Chick-Fil-A drive thru (waved to them through the window) while Wendy took the kids to the Boulders pool. Ali met us there! They swam and ate, a baby Bahama Bucks and we met at Sonic. Lydia had a wonderful time!!!

The boys had a great time at Father and Sons! I wish I had taken a picture before they left. Josh had a bad migraine that afternoon but was still able to go.

Truck

Pulling into a spot in the Home Depot on 620 today Josh's steering snapped. He could just spin the wheel! He ended up sideways in 2 spots in front of the loading doors. Waiting for a tow truck he got some nasty looks for taking up 2 spots! What a miracle it happened here!!  He lost all control, so much safer in a parking lot then on 620 or a freeway! I am grateful! I grabbed lunch and picked him up. (that is one to see him, happy to get him in my car)

Good-bye Hand Mixer

This hand-mixer is almost 17 years old. Today it gave up the ghost. I plugged it in, it sparked loudly with a little flame and and scared me to death!!
