Moving the boys downstairs

We need to move the boys to the basement to make room for the baby upstairs. I was not overly thrilled by this idea at first and then realized it is the only way! The boys were surprisingly excited! They unloaded Josh's "Recreation Closet" into the spare bedroom! Once emptied Josh built shelves for them! The boys and I painted the shelves!

Water

Monday March 8th Vern noticed wet carpet in his room. Josh checked it out and we realized the boys had the hose on out front by the window. We thought maybe the frozen dirt could not absorb the water! Then this room was soaked!! The pipe down from the hose bib cracked! Josh fixed it and John came to dry wall. I painted and Nate came to re stretch the carpet! We need this room finished so we can move stuff into it and put the boys in the basement!

Blake

Blake sat in that basket and played cars for at least a half hour!! When I say "smile" or "say cheese", he does a huge grin and ends up with his eyes closed!! Cracks me up!!

St. Patrick's Day

On the 16th the boys were talking about leprechauns and if they were invisible. Grant threw up a pillow and said, "Do you think I got one?" I said they were not in the room. He walked forward and spread his arms making sure.

Trent climbed in bed with us at 2am. 10 minutes later said he was going back to bed . . . I knew he was checking for a gold trail. (He never goes back to bed.) I was cracking up! He was back a few minutes later!! Around 8 Trent decided to wake Grant (who is usually hard to wake.) Grant opened his eyes instantly and said, "St. Patrick's Day!" He was up!!

Trent took some doughnuts to the neighbors and came home and said, "As I walked away I saw a huge grin on Brysen's face!"

Blake poses now for the camera and I love it!!

That afternoon Grant decided to do his toes!

Mice

We read Gus Goes to School last night. We all fell asleep but the boys saw the page where Gus dressed up like a mouse. This morning they copied Gus. It was so funny . . . they showed me how they looked just like the book! Blake was cracking up as they squeaked around!!

Becker Business

Josh left for Vegas Thursday morning the 11th with Ben Child! They headed down to hang out and meet Zimms and Beuts Friday! They all drove to AZ to visit the Ballards and Stevens. They had a great trip and came home Sunday the 14th, actually Monday the 15th at 4am!

Blake imitates us whispering and it is a crack up. He will get right up to my ear and make a whole bunch of sounds!!

Sunday the 14th the kids opened puzzles from my parents that had notes on the back! We put the puzzles together and flipped them over on a cookie sheet and found out that Grandma and Grandpa saw a leprechaun hide a treat in Blake's room, the pantry for Trent and the laundry room for Grant! The boys were so excited!! It helped a very long Sunday afternoon! They had shirts, a darling little green gumball machine, a sucker, capsule sponges, slinky and pencil!!

The Reese's drove in Monday, March 8th for Clint Layton's funeral Friday, March 12th. We went to In N Out Monday night, had a roast Wednesday night, Chinese Food Friday night and did the Kangaroo Zoo Saturday morning! Saturday afternoon they flew out to France!

March 15th the boys did a store on the porch. They had gum, rocks, sponges and candy. The yard was filled with kids. It ended with water guns in the backyard. The cutest part is Trent told me, "I am making money for Dad so he can do a you know, house." Me "A speck home?" Trent "Yep, I want to help him." Later that night he took a handful of money to Josh.

March 16th they did anther store outside this time selling stuffed animals and Bakugons. It was such a beautiful day!!
