Funny Kids

Blake wanted to lay out his clothes before getting in the shower! (1-1-13) He brought in navy blue fleece pants, a BYU shirt and BYU hat!  He was happy it all matched!  He looked at Josh and smiled! Josh asked, "So you are wearing BYU today Buddy?" Blake's response, "Yeah, I didn't want to be the best today!  Mom don't you like BYU?"  Ha Ha

Blake was looking at the underside of his tongue in the mirror! He couldn't believe it was purple! He said, "Mom I have eaten too many Fruit By the Foot!"

I dropped Trent off at Scouts and rolled down the window and yelled, "Are you walking home with your friends or do you want me to pick you up?" In the cutest voice he said, "Well, that would be nice, it is 15 degrees out here!"  I laughed!! 

New Years

I am combining this into one post so it will all be in my book to finish off the year! 

Friday, December 28th we headed to St. George around 1pm!  Luckily Avery had not had her baby and we got to spend some time with them! 

Lydia cleaned some chocolate off of her face and said, "Look mom, I am Santa!" She still sings "Riding in a one horse open sleigh!" Makes me excited for next Christmas already!!

St. George Christmas Vacation house!  Come to find out the Mortensen's found another one even bigger we will have to see next year!!

On New Year's Eve we ate at Red Robin then drove home!  Arrived at 11:55pm!  Verne was in Logan with his sister Peggy!  New Year's Day we went to Evelyn's house!  That night we ended up watching Pitch Perfect with Grandma and the Johnsons!

Christmas

Trent and Grant were up about 1am, they checked everything out and came to our room!  I told them to go watch a movie! We had warned them we would not wake Lydia up till 7am!  (She was exhausted, no naps!) They watched movies in their room on Grant's player!  Because they were up most of the night they slept till 8am!  (From about 5:30 - 8am) The excitement was electrifying!  It is so fun to be in a house with so many believers!!!

Blake bought Lyd a Mickey floor piano and princess book!

Lyd bought Blake balloons and a Cars marker book!

Grant bought Trent a Tap Out hat! (That he really wanted too, very sweet!)

Trent bought Grant an I-pod case!!

It was fun to have Grandpa Verne there with us Christmas Eve and Christmas morning!! Dad and Grandpa did Ninjago Legos for Trent all morning!  We put batteries in things, played and organized! It was so fun!!  We ran to Evelyn's for about an hour then headed to Bennihana's! (with the Reese's) We came home and watched a movie before bed!  Uncle Ben came by for a minute!GREAT DAY!!

Christmas Eve

Started with breakfast at Kneaders at 8am! Lots of SNOW!!

Sledding at Soldier Hollow with the Simmons and Talls!  The drive was OK although it was snowing!
  I took a wet, cold little Lyd into the lodge about 11:15am!!

Then lunch at McDonald's, home to get ready, Dad went to Smiths, and off to the Reese's!!  We had a ham dinner then did the Nativity!

Silly girl!!

Gave Grandma and Grandpa their "Roboto" gift!! (Nov 15 had cousin pictures taken!  Made 2 phone covers, group shot and mugs!)

Watched 2 sweet clips on TV, changed into matching Jammie's, opened lots of presents, Mom ate lots of See's with Grandpa and headed home with a tired crew!!!
