New Year's Eve

Grant's first talk!! He rocked it!! Wrote it himself!!! Job well done!!

We did Scouts all afternoon, Dad checked the well house before the freeze, went to the Barbers at 6:30 then Leavitt's at 8:30 for BINGO. Grandpa stayed home.We left the Leavitts about 10:45. (Much to Blake and Lyd's dismay!)

Nicole met us at the Aquarium! It was great! The kids loved it! Sweet Grant bought Baby Blake and truck and shark trailer as we left.

Build a Bear

Lydia got Build a Bear for her birthday in July. We went to do it Tuesday night. Had Chik-Fil-A with Grandma Evelyn's gift cards and went to build. Josh needed to return some pants too. I got a hot dog on a stick.   It was so fun, Blake a gift card from us too. B/c we had 4 gift cards (from Costco) we got 4 pair of free shoes! Christmas special! Trent stayed home to rest. His mouth hurt more days 4-6.

Christmas

We said anytime after 7am come get us! When I took medicine to Trent at 1am, Grant was wide awake. "Hi Mom" from the darkness. He came down with me and checked things out! He was so excited and it was so cute! He later told me he went down with me, once alone, once with Lyd, once with Blake and Lyd. HaHa!!  

7am they were down, out to the family room!

 We went to see Jumanji at 2:40 in Round Rock! Very fun! Lydia left her goggle bag but we were able to retrieve it from the theater. (We were part way down 1431, turned around.) Stopped to get Chinese on our way home, crazy crowded and they lost our order, but after waiting over 45 minutes, went home with food!

My nativity from childhood! I babysat and saved for this. One morning my dad asked how much money I had, he said he would help and we went to get it then! I almost died!!  Wonderful memory!!

Christmas Eve

We had the Wilcox's and Wright's to dinner. The Christmas Slush was a hit, so much people hardly ate ham and turkey! 

We did the nativity!

Read Twas the Night Before Christmas and opened our jammies! 

Einsteins

Christmas Eve Breakfast was the 23rd this year b/c Christmas Eve is a Sunday! It was very fun! We got Trent soft bread and a smoothie.  Josh power washed the driveway (for hours!), lots of cooking, HEB, bought stain, got Whataburger, Josh ran to Academy.

Lydia came with to HEB b/c she wanted to get gifts for the boys. It was so sweet, she vetoed a lot of my ideas, she knew what she wanted. She got Trent a gift card for $20 to Five Guys (b/c he loves the hot dogs) and some mini York patties, Grant a $10 Chik-Fil-A and a cookies and cream Hershey, Blake $10 Chik-Fil-A and $10 I-tunes. She wanted each boy to have 2 things. Very cute!
The boys gave her a dog purse with tic tacs and $15 inside! It was very fun, she could not wait for them to open her gifts!! They did the exchange Sunday.

Trent's Wisdom Teeth

He was such a cute patient! He woke up SO happy and chatty from the anesthesia. He was very funny! The whole procedure was very quick and went well. 

On the drive home he made a video and said he was going to do a daily blog, got a shot of me, "here is my mom!" It was too funny. He talked about basketball, ball is life, why I wouldn't let him play that day. He saw trucks and mini trucks on the road.  

The Elf Toilet Papered us last night so Lydia got a picture! 

We iced and iced and iced (even during the night). Trent did not swell or bruise, it was quite amazing to me!

At night we went for yogurt and to get Blake and Lydia shoes. Everyone paid for their own except Trent, we paid for his.

Family Light Night

After Recital:  picked up Dad from work, Texas Roadhouse, Dad had to finish one thing and get his truck, we ran to HEB quick, met Dad at home, saw some lights, Fred Claus, BED!

Kid only Recital 4pm! Everyone was nervous!! Trent did not play in this one, he sat by Lydia on the bench.

Class Parties

Verne and I went to Blake and Lydia's class parties. Trent had a half day because of finals but basketball practice till 3pm. We checked the kids out early, took them home, I ran an errand then grabbed Trent!
