November Details

Lydia cracked the glass on my phone on 11-13! Blake was laying on my bed playing a game on it and Lydia hit it with a vacuum piece! I used it carefully trying to figure out where to get it fixed!  Friday morning the 16th she got it off the counter, brought it into the bathroom, set it on the toilet seat, I turned around just as it slid in!!  Josh spent many hours trying to figure out the best option for getting me a new one!  He drove to Fashion Place and brought my new phone to Miss Waite's reception!!  Thank you Josh!!

When we got in the car someone burped! I said "Was that Lydia?"  This cute little voice answered, "Yes it was dad's diet Coke!"

11-20-12 Blake came into the laundry room and said, "Look mom I have a dog!"  There she was, shock collar and all!!  He said, "Bark Roxy!"  And she barked!!

Grant's adorable soldier for Veteran's Day!

Sweet little Miss Carly was born on Tuesday, November 20th!  9:15am 6 lbs 7 oz 18 inches

 I wanted to transfer the contacts from my old droid phone to my new phone!  (Old phone like over a year ago old, not the phone that was in the toilet!) I borrowed a charger to get it charged up, called Verizon and thought I understood!  I activated it and got the contacts switched over!  Then I started to realize I was not receiving texts and had no Internet!  I was getting calls and texts for Vale, and told them wrong number!!  I called Josh at 5am on Black Friday from Smiths and he asked where I was calling from!  My phone!!!  Called Verizon and it was not activated, my droid was still activated! They got my new phone activated, but why did I have Vale's number for that time??  WEIRD!!!

Lydia was singing, "Daddy Daddy little star, how I wonder what you are!"  I told Blake how funny her song  was!  While laughing she said, "Yeah Yeah Bakey (Blakey), I did ding (sing) that dong (song). I did dat (that) it was do (so) funny!!"

I got the nicest email from Grant's teacher saying how well he is doing and how much she enjoys him!!  Made me very happy!!  GREAT kid!!! 

Blake wanted me to come into the bathroom with him and wait! I sat on the stool and fell asleep in about a minute! He made a noise to wake me up and scared me! He was standing in the front of me laughing , took a step back and looking down said, "look mom Obama is in the toilet!" (he had pooped!) We are both laughing now and he says "I think he is surfing!"

Last Week

I painted the front door and my sweet mom watched the kids, so there were no spills or accidents!!! I painted our navy blue bathroom and Josh replaced the baseboards! More work than I anticipated!!  Navy blue is hard to cover and we have tall ceilings!

Lydia climbs on the counter constantly!  She throws things and spills things on purpose so she can clean it up! I honestly thought only boys were crazy and made messes! WRONG!  She climbed on the counter and colored on one of the boys Halloween basketball trick or treat bags my mom and made!  It was a matter of seconds, I was unloading the car, Josh walked in and there she was!!  When I am loading the dishwasher she pulls everything out and tries to put away the dirty dishes!! Sunday night she threw her broccoli! Josh put her in time out! When she came out she looked at me and said so sadly, "I go to time out, I threw my broccoli, dad put me in time out!" Maybe she is getting it!!  She imitates everything and I love it!  Sometimes she will tap my leg and say, "Mommy I love you!"  She loves to say "Nigh Night" to the boys! If you give her a minute to say that to them she is calm and ready for bed!  Once tucked in she still says, "I will call you in the morning and you come get me, Okay mom?!"

Playing hide and seek Sunday night Dad and Lydia were finding! They were walking down the hall almost to the front door! I was in the bathroom just off the hall. We heard this  little, "Check the closet!" It was Blake! Josh and I were laughing so hard, but I did not want them to hear me!

Last Wednesday we went to Scheels with Laura and Eric! It was very fun! Cool store! HUGE!!  The boys rode the ferris wheel with Josh and Lydia was so sad! She was too short! Eric took her up to the second level to see them! She waved her little hand off!! The boys loved it!!

It was early morning and Lydia wanted me to lay with her on the family room floor! She got up and covered me with a blanket and started to tuck in the edges! (something I do to her every time I put her to bed) Grant was watching on the couch and said, "When she grows up she is going to be the best mom!"

Trent was sitting by the fireplace playing his I-pod! Grant and I were talking about the fact it was Sunday and not Monday! Trent piped in he thought it was Monday too!! He said, "I thought oh, I didn't get in trouble when mom walked in, I think I will play until I get in trouble!"
