Moon Watching

These 2 funny boys decided to moon watch! It was probably 20 degrees outside! Trent took his qwillow and headed out and asked us to join him! Grant did! They came in for blankets, Doritos, Fruit by the Foot and suckers. I told them this would be so much more fun in the summer! Blake went out and wanted to sit on their blankets and eat Doritos! They lasted a long time and finally came in! My flash worked really well because it was pretty dark!

Josh was thrilled for Blake to get this truck, he wanted Blake to get a truck like this for Christmas!

He fills it with balls, stuffed animals, sippy's, whatever!

Trent used a little of his money too and bought an AirHog Helicopter! Grant bought a police remote-control car and a helicopter charger toy!

Valentine's Day

Josh and I flew down to LA for the Christoffersen's sealing Sat. Feb. 13. It was wonderful and we were so grateful we got to go!! Sunday morning the kids and Evelyn picked us up at 10:10am! They were so cute! They had made us Valentine's and they had balloons from Grandma!!

Trent's Valentine's to us:

The boys couldn't wait to see their plates! Josh overheard Trent reminding Grant that there was a surprise by the breakfast plates! When we got home from the airport they got some little airplane shooters and stuffed animals!! They were thrilled!! Grant wanted green German Pancakes and Trent wanted red!! So we did both!

Grandpa Verne made the kids Qwillows for christmas. They loved them!! When friends came over they fold and unfold the Qwillows to show the kids it is a pillow and a blanket!!

A Little Behind . . .

Blake loves Hungry Hungry Hippos. He was playing it one day very obsessed with the balls. Cleaning up there were 18 balls and not 20. I walked into the family room and saw one on the carpet. I was bugged we were missing a ball. A couple hours later Blake handed me the little white ball!

Since I have thrown up in the garbage can, sometimes Blake will go spit his food in the garbage can and make a funny noise!

I was commenting to Dr. Heidi how grateful I was Blake was behaving. Had I known we were going to scope Trent I wouldn't have brought Blake. I told her he usually screams alot! Right after I said that, Blake in my lap looked over at Trent and screamed a loud one and laughed! Then he looked at Dr. Heidi and screamed! Truly it was one of the funniest things I have ever witnessed!!

I picked Blake up the other day and said, "Let's go say hi to dad in the shower before he leaves." We walked into my bathroom, Blake waved and said, "hi" to Josh and walked out!! I was laughing so hard!

When Blake colors he puts his little face 1/8 of an inch from the crayon. He loves the outside rain or snow! He is an amazing eater. We were at Bennihanas and he picked up Josh's sushi, dipped it in the sauce and ate it!! He also eats salad and Japanese soup! He is awesome!!

When Blake is given a treat, he gets so excited he is literally shaking!

Trent and Grant are both awesome helpers. They get Blake out of bed, along with his 4 blankets, 4 dogs, 1 monkey, 1 frog, 2 pandas and 2 slips!! They both get him sippy's of milk too!!

Trent loves for me to read the Twilight books aloud! He asks many questions and then is out like a light!! I was explaining to him that Jacob was upset Bella was marrying a vampire and Trent started laughing and said, "Like a werewolf is any better!" His insight astounds me! I love to talk with him!!

Trent does his own hair for school and wears snow boots every single day! He loves to have kisses and hugs from Blake. He is doing so well with reading and math.

The other day Grant was running to get to Kade's house. He put a shirt on so Blake pulled the Alvin and the Chipmunks shirt from Grant's closet just over his head. They both got their shoes on and were out the garage door. Blake was one step behind him all the way to the street. When I scooped him up he was so upset he was not going. It broke my heart, especially b/c he had that darn shirt around his neck! It was too cute! Grandpa Vern told him he would do whatever Blake wanted. The went downstairs to slide and I could hear Blake laughing!

Grant adores Trent. There are times they can play so well together! They are so opposite! We love it!! Grant was loving Millsberry on the computer and was telling my mom about it! She was having a hard time finding "Noseberry" as Grant called it! On Millsberry Grant was buying every pet in the pet store!! I was cracking up! Trent kept warning him to buy food. He kept buying pets!

We were singing Down by the Bay and Josh and I were trying to come up with silly ones for them! Grant kept singing Down by the Fay and Josh would say Bay to him! It was very cute!

Trent is starting to eat in the cafeteria more! I love it! He is so grown up! When his car pool is late after school, he does not panic at all. That pleases me that he can think!

Grant was driving with Beckee home from music and saw a white car like Grandpa Verne's and said, "It can't be Grandpa Verne's because there's not lots of junk in the back." Everyone is teasing Verne about how full his car is!!!

Same drive Grant also told her he doesn't care if the baby is a girl or a boy as long as it's not sick when it comes out!

Trent mailed his Flat Stanley to my parents in ND! He wanted me to tell him what my mom was doing! I told him, he was thrilled and said, "I knew we sent it to the right girl!"

ABOUT THE BABY
In the beginning Evelyn gave me a couple of IV's because I was so dehydrated! The boys were adorable. Grant ran to get the hanger for her to hang the bag on. Evelyn let Grant push the syringe of saline before hooking the bag on. Trent got me a rice bag (made by Lizzy) and heated it up for my arm. After that Grant got the rice bag for me and a blanket each time!! They were very cute!

My parents and Jill were in town and I was dying to go to Fetal Photos!! Jill wanted me to go so badly she wanted to pay for it!! So February 3rd we went and Grant said, "Mom let's just take it out so we can see it!" The Doctor was not in and we were not sure if I was far enough along so we made an appointment for Monday the 8th.
Monday we went in and I was feeling very nervous! A Lithuanian Doctor was the Ultra Sound Tech. As soon as he put the machine on, he said, "Your baby is big!" That made me very happy! I knew I was farther along! So I was 16 weeks and 2 to 5 days (instead of 13 weeks and 6 days)! He looked at the face and said it's a girl. I told him no messing around, we use he or it! He has a daughter with 4 boys and pregnant. He said he can usually tell by the face! I did not know if he was teasing! (He still swears he can tell by the face!) Then he said, "I know what it is!" I felt like I was going to be sick. I thought for sure a boy because he could tell so quickly! He said, "It's a girl." I said, "What?" He said it again. I asked if he was sure. I looked over and Josh was smiling. I asked if he was positive! He said 200% and I screamed then screamed again! I was shaking and shocked!! I kept saying how shocked I was! Josh was just smiling!
Instead of going to buy an outfit, I just wanted to go to Hot Dog on a Stick because I was so nauseous! After that we drove to get Grant from Miss Heathers. He loved being taken out early. We headed to the office to find out where Trent's class was and asked Grant, "Do you want to know what we're having?" He said, "Sure" very nonchalantly. (Which was funny b/c he was dying to know what we were having!) We saw Miss Nielsen and found out they were in art class! We headed to the trailer and pulled Trent out! There we stood on the stairs and Josh said "What do you think we are having?" Grant said, "A girl." I said, "We are having a girl." They smiled!!! They were so excited!! Trent headed back in and Grant surprisingly enough went back to school for the last 15 minutes! We were soooooooo excited!! I was still shocked!! So shocked I forgot to get Grant!! I am always early to get Grant so I am right by the curb . . . I got there at 12:15 and Miss Heather was very nice about me being 15 minutes late!!
When Trent got home from school that day, the front door swung open and he yelled, "I am so excited we are having a girl!! I told everyone!"
What a fun day!!!! We are thrilled!!!!!

It's A Girl!!

IT's A GIRL!!! Jenette brought us a cute "I'm Wild about Daddy" outfit!


Grant helped himself to some brownies, which he took maybe 1 bite of!

Michele gave us some "It's A GIRL" cookies!!

At Bonzai my mom gave us some darling girl clothes, but I don't have a picture! Grant loved looking through them!

Lizzy's baptism

Lizzy's baptism was wonderful!! She looked so beautiful!!

She got this pillow for her baptism! Sweet thing let Grant help her color it!! It meant the world to him!!

Pirate's Island

We went to Pirate's Island and had a great time!! It helped that Paul, Chera, Johnny, Jenny, Grandma and Grandpa were there!!!

Funny Day

Blake was eating lunch with Grant, Branson and Grace! I ran into the other room to help Grace go potty and came back to this! He was not only covered in ketchup but he put a bunch in Branson's hair!! Sweet little Brans was not sure what to think of this!

That evening we went to In N Out for dinner! Josh was at school!

Then we went ice skating and the kids loved it!!

Grandpa could not get over what a great skater Trent was! So when we went to Trent's SEP here is what his journal said, "Ovr the wekend I wen to in N out aftr we went iskateng I wus the Best iskatr." He looked embarrassed when we read it and looked up at me and said, "Grandpa said I was the best!" It was so cute, I told him he was!! Grant was awesome too, skating with great speed using his walker making laps! I was cracking up!!

Zhu Zhu Party for Lizzy

We had a much anticipated Zhu Zhu hamster birthday party for Lizzy!! It was a kick!! Jen made these darling cupcakes!! After the party we went to Bennihannas! (all Reese's, Max and Claudia) We took up 3 tables! Blake grabbed and ate sushi right off Josh's plate! He dipped in the hot stuff too!!
