Josh's 39th Birthday

Josh had a lunch meeting and a mingle meeting after work so he met us at Trent's tournament game in Austin. After the game, he ran to Chik-Fil-A, I ran to Andy's and we met at home. The bikes were delivered today. After the Reese's Pieces shake he started to put the bikes together. (It was cold outside, which Josh likes!) I ran to get Trent from LHS.  Birthdays as adults are much different than kid birthdays!

Blake's Thanksgiving break journal entry: (He has fantastic writing)

"My thanksgiving break was great! I went to the beach. My favorite thing to do is skim boarding. Skimboarding is when you run and trow the board and land on it.  I love to skimboard. My skimboard has a curve on the front of the board so I can jump the waves. On my trip I went body boarding. I would say body boarding is more fun than boogie boarding."

We wanted to have a discussion with the kids, "Who wants to give to the pot for a 4-wheeler  and 2 little motorcycles, with Grandma & Grandpa and us?" Well, they saw the 4-wheeler in the garage, so we had the conversation real fast! They were thrilled!! Everyone wanted to pitch in!! They rode quick before Josh's presidency meeting. (We were still unpacking from Destin.)

Left the 17th, stayed in Orange. The hotel had been affected by flooding, it was a little rough. (not just b/c of the flooding,  not as clean as 2 years ago.)
