New Years

We headed up to the cabin Thursday, December 29, 2011. Went to bed thinking the water was frozen and we would return home in the morning! Ends up the valves were tripped on the big pumps! Brad, who we called Thursday night, figured it out at 12:30am!! YEAH!! Grandma and Grandpa and the Tall's came up Friday late afternoon! The kids could not wait for them to arrive! Simmon's joined us Saturday afternoon and the Reese's left!!

Little Lyd did not feel well! Her fever started last night!! I did not get a picture of all three cute boys with her! But here is the vest and dress!!

We ate the pumpkin bread, played a little and headed to church! After church Lyd napped and the boys watched a movie and played! Josh and I watched Warrior and I loved it!! We headed to the Reese's for Christmas dinner! Grandma gave everyone puzzle pictures of themselves and group shots!! We played a little Whoonu and headed for home!!

Christmas Eve

Off to Kneaders to eat breakfast!! Costco, the car wash, IFA for peacock food, feed the peacock!
Shower, load the car!! Next to Kobee's house to drop off a watch! Off to Grandma Evelyn's house for Christmas Eve!! We had a "Shepherd's Dinner" then changed into our new PJ's!! The program was next!

We did a book exchange among cousins! Lydia wanted to open her own present, we were very excited!!

Blake got a TRAIN! (B/C Jocelyn bought it before we decided to do books!)

The Crew

We ran by Eric's and Smith's on our way home! Blake was asleep! He did not transfer and could not go back to sleep until midnight! Grant was up at 11pm and came out and said sleepily, "Why didn't Santa leave anything?" BECAUSE it is 11pm and mom, dad and Blake are all awake! I made pumpkin bread around 10:30pm (b/c Blake was still up I figured make it now and not the morning) and had to crush my own cloves! The smell of the bread made the house feel so warm and Christmasy!! Trent was up at 1:45am to use the bathroom and must have wandered, it was all down hall from there! We had Grant by 2:10am! I could hear them checking out the gifts! They tried to get Blake and I semi yelled to let him sleep! They all ended up in our room unable to sleep (Blake just crawled in and kept sleeping) until 7am! I wish I would have chilled out, but I was worried how tired they would all be from NO sleep!!

We had a Mexican Fiesta at Jen's house! Tacos, Chimichangas, Taquitos, Pina Coladas, Nacho Cheese fountain, etc. We did the Nativity:

Then we did presents! The kids were beyond excited!! Trent and Grant got a Wii and DS game and remote control cars! Blake got a leapster and a remote control motorcyle! Lydia got some clothes and a doll and blanket! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!! We did a cousin Jammie exchange also!

Week Before Christmas

Tuesday the 20th while I got my haircut the kids and Josh took Grandma Laura to the airport!
Wednesday the 21st we had pizza and made cookies and ornaments and watched Elf!
Thursday the 22nd the kids went to see Arthur with Jill and Grandma! That afternoon we went to see Mikaylee sing at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building! We walked around Temple Square and had dinner at the Olive Garden! We stayed the night at the Marriott and swam!!

Kohler's Santa

We headed to Kohler's Grocery Store to see Santa! Blake informed me, "I already sat on his wap (lap) at my school mom!" Like, come on, would I go again! Well he did! And we had doughnuts and chocolate milk!!
