Raced around all morning! (Said good-bye to the Becker's last night . . headed to Ben and
Beckee's house!) Left for the airport at 12:45pm! Eric drove us! Stopped at the mall to get Josh's watch from his dad! (Thursday night while Laura and the girl's were at
Beckee's house, Verne took Josh, Trent, Ben,
Mikaylee and John to the Mall and Kohl's to get baptism and graduation watches! Josh's was at the engraver "Time is never lost on Learning." Thanks Verne!) Arrived at 1:30pm, took everyone through security, woke
Lyd up! Suppose to fly out at 2:53! 2:15 flights canceled! All 500 planes grounded . . so no flights to Bismarck at all! Took everyone back through security! Spent hours trying to work out a plan! (Josh is coming, Josh is not coming, Josh is coming)
Soooooooo frustrating, not Josh, United!! Almost had a plan, can't guarantee Josh a seat!! It was a JOKE!! He has to fly home Tuesday morning! Much to my dismay I had to let Lydia crawl on the floor . . you cannot hold a wiggly baby who wants to get down for 8 hours!! Back through Security!! Had Italian at the airport for dinner and boarded a plane to Minneapolis at 8pm! Found a direct flight to ND Saturday at 3. We did not want to be on a plane Blake's whole birthday day! Got to MN at 11:30pm! Found the play yard and headed to United desk where we were supposed to get our hotel arrangements!! They were
unbelievably rude to us!! Ran to catch our hotel shuttle, last one, leaving at 12:15am! Got to the Hilton, very nice people! Josh took Grant and Blake to one room and I had Trent and
Lyd in the other! Trent watched some cartoons,
Lyd screamed!! Finally got her yogurt and apple juice in the Lobby at 2am! Didn't really help! Screamed till 3am!!
Little knock Saturday morning, Grant, did not wake up
Lyd! Another knock, Josh wondering where Grant was, did not wake up
Lyd! Grant left and came back, did not wake up
Lyd! Blake slept till 11am!! WOW!!
A few presents for the birthday boy we put in Dad's carry-on!! Wrapped in a Hilton laundry bag!

A free breakfast from the hotel in the hotel restaurant b/c she felt bad for us!! They said they hear horrible things about United ALL the time!!

Rhoda, the Hilton lady, loved Blake! She came around the desk for a big birthday hug before we left!! We wanted to go to the Mall of America, but thought Blake sleeping was more important!! The shuttle took us back to the airport!! 
Grandma and Grandpa picked us up from the airport . . Low and Behold they had on MR. and MRS. ROBOTO shirts!!! Darling!!! The cousins wanted to tell us so badly but kept an awesome secret!!! (Probably hardest for Austin who wanted to wear his!!) My dad chases the kids around the basement doing the robot . . . then got the name Mr. Robot!! We headed to the Olive Garden . . Blake's choice . . even over Space Aliens!! There our waiter told us that United canceled his New Year's Eve trip and Valentine's Day trip!! He is going to make a WE HATE UNITED WEBSITE!!! (And I would love to fund it!!) 
On the way home we ran into Old Navy to get the kids an outfit because our suitcase was in Seattle!! Too bad Delta pays the bill, I hope they back charge United!!
