Flying to Utah

Grandpa John and Grandma Gayle picked us up and we headed to Zuppas where we met Aunt Jen and Aunt Chera and kids! Got yogurt too then off to SWIM!!!  Johnny and Jenny came by later that night!

Crazy June

June was crazy this year!

Trent left for Boy Scout Camp at 5am the morning of Monday, June 21st! Josh towed the Scout Trailer to Lost Pines in Bastrop for them! The lights wouldn't work on the truck at the church when he hooked up the trailer, so he came home and switched for the Denali! I was very surprised when they came back home at 5:30am! Josh stayed the night and came home Tuesday morning! Thursday night we got a text Trent was throwing up but that we didin't need to come get him! Friday morning another text, he was still throwing up and to come get him! A lot of the boys were Friday night after the family dinner. We had told Trent he had to stay till Saturday! Josh drove down and picked him up! He was pale and quite a stud for sticking it out! That night Josh pulled a tick off of his head! (He was sitting on the stairs and I rubbed his head because I felt bad he was sick! I decided to do a quick tick check and hit something! I was hoping it was a scab! Nope!)

Saturday (6-27) he still mowed Tamara's lawn!
Monday (6-28) we got ready for Utah!

Father's Day

Trent's first time passing the Sacrament and first talk! 

Inks Lake

The Benefields invited us to Inks Lake! The Winsors came too and we brought the boat! We took the 1431 which added a little time to our drive! It was raining and thunder/lightening that morning but let off about noon! It made for great tubing weather!

1st Time in TX

Lake Travis today, first time the kids went in the boat in TX! Josh and I went once in the fall with some couples! Justin came with us today! 

Lake Travis is alot warmer than Lake Austin! I was thrilled! The kids loved it today! YEAH!!! Finally, after owning the boat for almost 8 years they want to go out in it!!!

Dr. Jackson

Took Trent and Lydia to see Dr. Charity Jackson today! We had so much to go over with her! It was nice they could go together! They both needed shots, Lydia Kinder shots, Trent 7th grade shots! Trent also needed a sports physical and a camp physical! 

Twilight Camp

Grant went to Twilight Camp at the Park Street church June 9-12! He really enjoyed it!

Swimming Merit Badge

Trent got his swimming Merit Badge tonight at Milburn Pool! 

Blake was floating on his life jacket in the kid pool! A life guard told him to put it on the right way! It hurt his feelings. He saw the life guard later and whispered in my ear, "Look mom, the life guard is completely dry, she hasn't saved anyone today!" I laughed and laughed!

Later that night Blake told me he needed me to go out to the car with him, he needed to show me something on the ipad, he said Trent was looking at something inappropriate! I smiled and asked if he just didn't want to go out alone! Yep, that was it! We laughed!  That boy is too funny!

Lydia

Lydia was so upset Lizzy left today! She cried so hard it broke my heart! Jill texted later that Lizzy told her family about Lydia waking up during the night and saying, "Mom Dad where is Lizzy?" Grant whispered, "In the bed above you!" Lydia said, "Oh good!" and went right back to sleep! When Lydia heard this she was running around the house and laughing saying "Mom dad where's Lizzy!"  Then, big huge tears started to roll down her cheeks and she said, "Mother, I'm getting into the missing Lizzy again!" So I said, "Want to make her a video?"  Lydia said, "Yes, of me crying!"
