Monday in ND

August 10
Tanya texted us Trent's teacher and time! He has Miss Nielson and is a Later Gator! I am thrilled!!!

We went to Space Alien for lunch! The kids were so excited!! Sweet Paul and Chera left 200 tickets for each of the kids - - they enjoyed playing Deal or No Deal! The kids were thrilled about the tickets!! Sunday night they wanted to sleep with them!

We went to see G-Force and Grant fell asleep! My mom ended up taking wild Blake out to walk in the mall! She took him to a little play place in the mall that he loved!! Grant did not last! I looked over and had to take a picture! The movie was in 3-D!
After the movie Trent had fun playing in the play area while Grant slept a little more on a bench!
We went home and hung out a while then Josh and I went to see My Sister's Keeper! It made me cry, then we went home and I got the call from Jenette about the Condie's family!

Sunday in South Dakota

August 9
After church we went to Black Hills Bagels! Trent calls it "Black Bagels." Blake was asleep in the car, so my mom stayed and then switched with my dad!
Josh made me get in the pictures! There was a lady laughing at me! Thanks to Josh teasing . . . I held this position quite a while!!

We changed at the hotel, packed up, and headed to Dinosaur Hill!

Which the boys loved!! Grant vroomed his motorcycle on the dinosaur!!

We debated going to Storybook Island! I am sooooo glad we did!! Josh was not for it and ended up taking a photo shoot inside!!

Josh remembered these from Park City when he was young! Being the first thing in Storybook Island, it put a good taste in his mouth for the park!!

Jack and the bean stock!

Blake was funny and enjoyed himself!

A dwarf outside SnowWhite's house!!

It was raining when we left. We hopped in the car and started driving to Bismarck - 5 1/2 hour drive! I love the feeling of driving with everyone in the car, in the rain, seeing new cities! We stopped for dinner at the Country Kitchen in Dickinson. Again, it was so fun to be in the rain in a little family restaurant somewhere new! I loved it!! About 20 minutes outside of Bismarck we stopped to see Salem Sue - the world's largest Holstein Cow!! There was huge storm coming!!

Josh had a little drink . . . then an older women with white hair copied him! We cracked up!

We arrived at their house around 9:30 pm our time, 10:30pm their time! Grant said, "Oh so Grandma and Grandpa sleep here, I didn't know there were 2 temples!" I explained to him a temple and a house! Grant told Grandpa, "I like your house, except I hate the upstairs because there are no toys!" Trent said, "Grandpa I really like your house! I didn't know I would like it this much!"

Saturday in South Dakota

August 8
We started Saturday off with Black Hills Bagels!! Best Bagels in the world!! Off to Bear Country USA, 2nd drive through!! I do not usually use pictures without people, but there are some posted here for the boys!

They do not mind cars driving around!! He headed right toward us!

We were lucky enough to see the feeding truck come!! Bears from all over gathered!! It was so cool!! Burgers, buns, apples, carrots, raw scraps of meat etc.

The boys needed a picture of the bear swimming!!

OK, very exciting . . . we all put our names in a drawing, along with some others, to play with the baby bears! My mom was picked!! I screamed!! We were thrilled!! Josh got to go in behind the wire to snap photos!

They put her in overalls and boots! She could not believe how strong these bears were! One really wanted to get in her boot! He would not leave it alone! The head lady ended up shooing it away! The gal filled my mom's pockets with treats! She said the bears had just eaten so she didn't think they would be too crazy!

Josh's hand feeding treats!

They were crazy though!

Our little bear cub couldn't stay awake any longer!

Next: Old McDonald Farm - a petting zoo! It was darling!! The boys fed lambs bottles!

These crazy baby goats climbed all over dad . . .

which Grant hated!!

Poor thing was literally terrified!

Trent held a baby chick!

We couldn't believe we eat these!

The pig race was too fun!! Grant wanted to run around the outside with them!! The pigs were running for cherry Kool-aid!

There were chickens and roosters all over! Trent decided he wanted to catch one! He went running and we were cracking up! A guy caught one and let Trent hold it! He held it until dad came out of the bathroom and wanted to take it home! Josh had him set it down . . . but then he picked it up again by himself!! It was time to go and he said, "Let me catch one more, I am so good at this!"

By the road side of the farm there were mountain goats walking across big tall red bridges! They built them so they could be seen from the road! There was a ramp they could walk up to hang out on the bridge! Very cool!

Next: We walked through the mission home and saw the many many changes that had been made! I was flooded with emotions!!

Next: The Olive Garden!

Next:Toys R Us - where Grant chose a motorcycle and Trent chose a squishy dragon.

Next:Swimming at the hotel, then I ran to WalMart with my parents and Blake! (We brought home OG cheesecake for Josh and me.)
