Grandma Stanton

We went to see Grandma Stanton Monday night (April 30.) She was not doing well! She was asleep the whole time we were there! They had fresh lilacs in her room, a very distinct smell. Blake stayed in the doorway, Trent and Grant came into the room for a moment, and Lydia did not want me to get too close!  Sweet Josh of course kissed and touched her which was important for the kids to see!!  In the car on the way home Grant started to cry! It was adorable, he was trying to talk through his sweet tears and said, "Mom I am upset because Lydia won't remember her when she is 6! I don't think Blake will either when he is 6!!" Grant thought for a moment and through more tears, "Will you put a picture of her in Lydia's baby book? Actually in all of our baby books?" Already done buddy!! 
Grandma passed away at 2am today (Friday, May 4)! Funeral on Wednesday, May 9!
