Chicks

After Boondocks the Rasmussen's brought the chicks over to their new home! Blake was sooo excited!!  Then we decided to keep the fun going and drove to Ferron with the McAtees!!

Friday the 11th we went to James 3rd birthday at Boondocks! Everyone had a great time!

Spring Break

We drove to St. George Friday, April 4th!  The kids swam in the Mortensen's hot tub . . . 

 and COLD pool!!  They actually spent alot of time in the pool!!  

Grandma and Grandpa arrived Sunday afternoon and Josh flew out Monday morning!  Jill arrived Monday afternoon!

Lydia went through the Crack with Trent!  She loved it! On the way down she kept offering to help me!
The first night Jill was there we let cousins sleep together! At about 2am Blake and Austin came giggling into my room looking for my phone for Blake to play!  I almost died!!  I got them in bed and they were asleep almost instantly!  The next morning I said, "Blake, you were up all night!" He looked at me with the cutest "so cool" smile and said, "I know, it was AWESOME!"

The kids called this the Hot Tub!

We had alot of fun playing tennis!

While we were gone Dad saw Gordon Hayward at WhichWich  for the second time so he got a picture for the boys!!  

Jill and I drove home Thursday, April 10th! When we got home the huge tree above our garbage cans was in full bloom! It was beautiful!!  I wish I had taken a picture!!  Then for about 2 weeks I could hear honey bees in the tree!

Miss Tanya texted me this picture! She said the pre-schoolers found a worm outside and brought it in! Lydia was very excited!

April Fool

Blake and I bought this mouse at Pioneer Party while Lydia was at dance! I felt nervous all day because I didn't really want to scare anyone! We put it by the fridge, slowly involved everyone but Grant and Dad! Josh saw it while he was on the phone, not startled at all! Grant came running in and found out it was fake, but wanted to make sure!  All in all, I guess I would have liked Josh to be a little bit scared!

Lydia

Lydia could not sleep! It was after 10pm so I pulled her into my bed so she wouldn't wake the boys up! She was wired! She was quoting Frozen, the scene in the mountain shop with big man with an accent! Then she put her arms around me and kissed my head and said, "You sleep mom and I will stay awake and keep you safe!"  The next morning I was telling Josh how funny it was! Lydia had just woken up, smiled and said, "Put it on the blog Mom!"

Lydia sings Frozen songs and quotes the movie all day long as she sings and dances around! Josh and I love it!!  Very entertaining!!

I admit I love having Lydia play around me! I am just very careful not to spill on her! When I am making dinner the kitchen is usually quite full with something she is doing!  Tonight she used towels and the rug skid pads (sitting on a chair because of our orange juice spill) to play house with!  Minnie Mouse is asleep on her scooter!

Few tidbits!

Blake can be so sweet with Lydia! He wanted to cuddle with Lydia in her blanket! I love when he treats her this way! Sometimes in the mornings he will just cuddle her and take care of her and ask her to pick a movie! He even uses a really sweet little voice!!  He would only do silly faces this morning!

**Lydia sings and dances a lot!  Her newest is "Let it go, let it go, the wind never bothered me anyway!" It should be "the cold never bothered me anyway!" I love that she says wind! We use to have quite a bit of wind talk at our house!

**Lydia did an Article of Faith in Primary and the scripture another week! She did great! It was so cute to watch!

**Grant has been working very hard on his purple music flashcards! He and Trent were timing each other this morning! It was so cute!

**Blake is still loving his pregnant teacher! He is enjoying school a lot more now!  He loves Pete the Cat, Splat the Cat and Skippy Jon Jones!
