Saturday

We split into 2 cars! Josh, Evelyn, Ben, John, Braeden and Trent headed to Trent's tournament in Austin! Reese's, Lizzy, Verne, and I went to Blake and Lydia's last soccer game, then the tournament!

On the way home, it was Josh, Evelyn, Ben, John, Trent and me! We stopped by Gourdoughs, an amazing donut place Ben knew about!

We got Marcos for dinner and the kids started arriving for night games!

Last Day of School

Verne flew in Thursday night! I put this on the table Friday morning! 

Ran to RBMS because we got an email saying Trent was in the top 10! As they presented the awards we were cracking up, they were actually presented in number order!  I thought for sure the top 10 would be grouped! Nope, 10, kids tied for 9th, 8, tie for 7th, 6, 5, Trent Becker 4th!!!  Then 3 girls (who Trent does not think play sports too! HaHa!) We were dying! 4th highest grades in 6th grade! Our favorite part were the cheers from his friends!

Lyd and I ran back to Winkley to get volleyball ready for Grant's class party! Kami took care of the donut part for me so I could be at Trent's award! We snuck to Blake's party for a minute to check it out!!

The Fun Begins

All the family flew in at 1:30pm.  Grandma Gayle's suitcases got lost! Reese's rented a car and Josh picked up the Beckers! We all met at Mighty Fine!

Award's Day

Blake sang in the MPR at 8am then awards in his classroom! Ms. Hutchens did a great job honoring each kid! She gave candy awards to match their personalities and efforts! Blake got the "Smarties Award!"

Blake was one of the few who never moved his clip down!!  

Grant's awards were at 1pm! He got everything possible plus a special award from the art teacher! From his teacher he got "Mathematician!" He rocked his Math Starr! His teacher was thrilled because he was only in PACE half the year!!  (and got the highest score!) Go GRANT!!!!!

Miss Lydia

Lately Lydia wants me to sit outside while she rides her bike around the patio! She always takes a rest on the longboard! Usually it is sloped down off the patio onto the lawn! Today she wanted shade! 

Honor's Band

Trent had to audition for band next year! He made the 8th grade Honor's Band, top band at the school!! He was stoked!!  (We were too!)  He got this little trumpet for getting his black belt! Trumpet Scale Ninja!

Orthodontist

I have been taking Trent to Orthodontic consultations! In Dr. DeSantis' office after taking the pictures below Trent said, "I will look funny in those!" I told him no it was just up close of the teeth! Lydia piped up with, "She likes your teeth better than your face Trent!" 

We are definitely going with Dr. DeSantis! I knew as soon as I met him!!
