This morning he went up to Roxy's kennel and said, "Good Morning Foxy Roxy do you have a cut? Mom Roxy is a poor thing!"

Life

Trent has been saving his money since Christmas for an I-Pod touch! He even returned some birthday presents in May to make more money!! At the start of school changed his mind and started looking at bikes!! (Lots of research on Dad's part!) Finally, here she is!! Trent is thrilled!!
Grant wants a new bike for his birthday! In the meantime, he bought Trent's yellow bike!!

Look at her new trick! She wanted the DS on the counter that was playing music! So she climbed out!! Uh-Oh!!

She keeps turning to the side to look at the neighbor girls who were smiling and laughing at her! She thought she was pretty cool!!

And our final story of the day . . . Roxy ate a rock Sunday at the cabin! She was chewing on it and accidentally swallowed it, we assume! Monday she was not eating or drinking and she was throwing up! When I let her out of her kennel she would eat green weeds then throw up!! Poor baby was so sick!! Tuesday morning Josh got her to the vet and they did an x-ray! Yep, she ate a huge rock!! They took her into surgery and found not only the rock, but lots of hard black plastic (sprinklers) and lots of rubber bands (the boys have been making sling-shots and rubber band guns in the backyard lately.) The rock cut off blood supply to her intestine, so the Vet had to cut out a bunch of nearly dead intestine and sew it back up! She was under for 2 and 1/2 hours!! They gave her a 50/50 chance! So we had to pick her up and take her to a 24 hour Animal Hospital to be watched over night! Poor thing came walking out and looked so sad but cute! Her poor stapled belly! She was wobbly as I drove her to the new hospital! For the night she was given a 60/40 chance to live! Well, Josh is going to bring her home tonight around 5:30!! She will be kenneled in the backyard till she is 2!! Seriously, we can't trust her!!

Go Girl

Becca (our KOTM gal) told us to get Lydia a walker and shopping cart! We borrowed the walker from Jill and the cart from Grandma and Grandpa Sunday night! When the boys woke up Monday morning they could not wait to get her started!! She did AWESOME and LOVED it!!!

Becker Business

Trent's diorama from second grade! (I am tossing it now!) Grandma Gayle actually helped him make it when she was in town!!
Our new chore chart! What needs to be done before and after school!! It is helping me keep my sanity!!

Labeled photo from Uncle Kent!

Blake loves Gatorade and Vitamin Water . . so he asks us for a Viterade!

Still haven't found my small camera!

Blake was sitting on the toilet the other day very constipated (like and hour and a half and he missed school). He is very random sometimes and wants to make me laugh! When he said this, he used his little voice to imitate Josh then his laughing voice at the end!! Here is what he said, "Remember when dad said, I have a lump in my neck, wasn't that funny?" Yes Blake, hysterical!!
***

Driving home the other day past Dicky's BBQ, the "y's" were not lighting up! Trent looked out the window and in a very funny concerned voice said, "Mom Dad, look at the Dicky's sign, they need to replace those lights quick!" He brought it up for days; he could not believe the sign just spelled a bad word!

***

Grant is so sweet with Lydia!! He lets her stick her finger in his ear and pull on his ear, all the while laying so patiently!! He loves to get her out of the crib in the morning! He likes to play with her and make her fly!

***

Blake was walking around singing, Baby You're a Firework! Then he said, "My friend Austin's little brother Luke loves Baby I'm a Firework!"
***
Lydia still sits in her infant car seat!

***

Walking out to see the dog, Blake said in the sweetest voice, "Foxy Roxy, good morning. How are you? Did you have a good sleep? We are happy to see you!" (Which is almost exactly what I say to the boys in the morning!)

***

Roxy was laying on her place and Blake said, "Foxy Roxy said I want to lay by Blake!" Sometimes Blake takes a rest on her place too!! (Oh how I love that!)

***

Blake calls Mike and Ikes . . . Mike oh Mike.

***

Blake woke up in the morning, saw Lydia crawling towards him and said, "Oh there's my baby girl, come here girl!" His favorite word it Tooty!

***

Lydia was sitting in Blake's car seat in the truck so the TV was right in front of her face! I turned to look several times and she was smiling and very into Tom and Jerry!!

***

Reading scriptures the other morning Trent read "Abominable," (about the abominable church) and under Grant's breath he said, "Snowman." I cracked up!!

***

Lydia and I were walking through the Home Depot. I glanced and she was touching my hand and smiling and laughing! My hand looked like a fist on the cart and she was giving me "Bones" or "Knuckles." She does it now for the boys too and we all cheer!! She is so funny!! I was cracking up she did it on her own and without me looking!! Now she tries to say it too!

Grandpa John

While in Bismarck Paul Blart became a running joke!! Whenever we had to wait in the car, we put it on! It is all we had! My dad and the boys really enjoyed it!! We had a message on our answering machine for Grant from Paul Blart, then this came in the mail!!
Dear Trent, Grant and Blake:
It was nice to see you at the mall in Bismarck. Your Grandma and Grandpa will be home soon and I will be looking for you at In-N-Out Burger, at the movies, and at the Olive Garden. Be sure and get a good education, or in other words do well in school and enjoy it while your young then you won't be a mall cop like me. Grant, it is fun to ride my two wheel scooter, but you don't have to be a mall cop to do that. See you soon, Love to all, Paul Blart, Mall Cop!

The boys and I laughed and laughed! Most of all Blake! He held the letter and could not stop laughing!!

Scouts

Pack Meeting last month the boys were given bags of stuff (pipe cleaner, wire, popsicle sticks, cans, fabric, yarn, pins, egg carton, wood board, stones). They were called "Genius Kits." They could use tools, tape, glue, and paint. Trent and Josh made this darling skate park! The "Mountain Dew Tour" to be exact!!
