Linfields

Eric had a conference in Austin and Grandma Laura came with him. We picked them up Wed. 3-29 from the hotel and went to dinner at the Hula Hut. Took Eric back to the hotel and Laura came home with us. Thursday we visited and went to Taco Cabana (then piano and scouts after school.)  Friday we went on a bus tour of Austin, grabbed Vodoo Doughnuts and Eric and headed home. Eric and I met Josh to look at carpet (first super tense moment building the house). Dinner at Chick-Fil-A.

Saturday morning Josh and Eric went to the house then we all met at Winkley for some kickball, Laura was at home. We ran by the house, to Walgreens and home to get Grandma Laura for Grant's game.  Grant and Blake got to go to a few minutes of Ryan Taylor's birthday, then off to Wendy's and to see Beauty and the Beast.  Josh, Eric and Trent went to dinner and Priesthood.

Sunday morning we had a tornado warning. Crazy rain and wind, but there was about 5 or 6 minutes that was pretty frightening. (we were upstairs and calmly had the kiddos go downstairs, the trees and wind out the window were AMAZING) Had German Pancakes, and once it blew through we went to San Antonio to see The Alamo. Rudy's on the way home!  The kids asked about Conference Saturday and Sunday, made my heart happy. They wanted it, the feeling.

We stopped by the house on the way home to see the fireplace. There was water in the kitchen cabinets and some kind of leak upstairs. Turns out rock guys opened kitchen windows, good thing, and Josh figured out how the upstairs needed to be fixed! We will not have tornado wind and water too often!
