Traveling

 After we left Powell we realized the freeway we needed was closed! We took a different way! We were hoping to stay in Kayenta, New Mexico but he hotels were booked! McDonald's and Burger King were packed!!!  The city hold people going to a rock National Park! In McDonald's a huge group of tour teens! While in the bathroom at McDonald's a Native American man looked in  and knocked on Trent's car window, smiled and walked away! Freaked out Trent and Blake!!! We approached in the parking lot, gas station, by the door at McDonald's! Everywhere!!  We were ok there were no hotels because the kids were uncomfortable in this town, strange town! But we were soooo tired!!  Drove to Gallup, New Mexico and got a hotel!!  In the morning we went to the Cracker Barrel!  Fun!

Entered TEXAS!!! YEAH!!!!

Drove to Lubbock, TX (July 25) where Uncle Mike got us a hotel!  We were very thankful!!

Aunt Jen made these darling traveling boxes!! The kids loved them!! They honestly made the drive! Snack money, movies, maps, crayons, stickems, paper games, hang man etc.

We walked to WalMart for a snack at McDonald's! It was nice to be out!

Morning!

We ate breakfast in the hotel lobby! They had waffles in the shape of Texas! Cute! 

Off to Leaner!  There was a Trent road on our way, but Trent did not want to stop, he wanted to get there!!
