Quick review of the move! While trying to leave 2445 Lydia got the flu and wanted to be held! I hired some cleaning gals to clean the rental so I could just move in and they did a terrible job! I even had them come back a second time to touch up! Still bad! We were hoping to hire Sonny to help Josh tear out the back of the house and ramp etc. His grandmother passed away, which was hard on all of them!! Josh needed to build shelves in our bedroom alcove, rip out and build new shelves in Lydia's closet, add shelves to the boys closet and the back of the house! Conference weekend he worked on the back of the house/ramp! Blake and Lydia both got the stomach flu again! I was doing lots of wash! Then my washer running caused Chandalyn's sink to overflow in the basement! I took the boys to the cabin over fall break hoping to give some "alone" work time to Josh! He ended up spending most of the time on plumbing! He had to tear out some of the kitchen cabinets to find a pipe! He ended up calling a plumber who warned us we may have some septic tank issues! Then the Carr's toilet backed up, turned out the septic tank was full, had not been emptied in 40 years! Found out about their toilet at 8:00 at night! Luckily a septic guy came over that night! He had to send a camera down to find where the opening was then dig down to the opening out by the shed! Six days later the septic tank was full again, because the leech field was full! Every bit of water that leaves the house fills the tank, showers, washers, sinks, toilets etc. The leech field is where all the liquid runs out to with septic tanks! We decided to hook up to city sewer. We had to be so careful until that was done so we would only have to pay to empty the septic once more! We were asking the kids not to flush etc. So sad when you know it is such a bad habit to get into!! Turns out the house could not just be hooked up, pumps had to be installed! Josh got a flat tire, Trent threw up and I almost got rear ended one day and side swiped the next!! Thankfully avoided both! Then Josh tore out the cook top and ovens! They were in the middle of the kitchen and looked awful! WISH WISH WISH I had taken pictures! He also took out the disgusting sink! There was a slight gas leak on Sat. Oct. 19. Josh fixed it but Sunday after church we could smell gas again strong! He was sawing the wood floor to pull the line out and hit a water pipe! A light spray was coming out! He yelled and ran downstairs to have Joe shut it off! I heard it, thought it was gas and got all the kids outside! Ran back in to see and realized it was water! Went to the bathroom to grab some towels when the sink hoses turned on! Two cold one burning hot, PSI stronger than a shower! I started screaming, "wrong one wrong one!" Water was shooting everywhere! My kitchen table was full of stuff so I grabbed the hose shooting that way and stuck it in our garbage can. Grabbed another garbage can yelled for Grant to come hold it in, shorter garbage can so it wanted to come out! Poor Grant didn't realize it was water at first and felt very scared that I was dealing with gasoline! I saw our cooler (from the cabin) and shot the other hose into the cooler. The cooler was filling so quickly I ran to grab all of our shower towels to lay out all over! Once I was back and threw the towels down, (in all the water and saw dust etc.) the water shut off!! Everything was WET!!! SOAKED!! What had happened is, when Josh ran downstairs yelling shut off the water, Joe accidentally turned on the sink water! Five minutes later the water had run through the house and was pouring down the Carr's bookshelves! The entire floor and sub-floor had to come out because Josh and Joe could see standing water that had to be dried! (along with insulation that needed to be dried) Our amazing brother in laws and wonderful Ben came to the rescue!! Ripped that floor out! The kids went to Joslyn's house! At 5 I took them to my folks for a Halloween dinner! Josh stayed home to work! That is when the plan changed! We decided to buy cabinets from Jeff Briggs since ours were all torn out (and weird sizes anyway!) It is hard to stay on top of things when there is sawdust everywhere!! The day the septic was emptied for a second time Roxy came running to me and she was black! I had just taken her to the groomer so I was furious! She smelled horrible! I freaked out and told the kids not to let her touch them! I grabbed the hose and tried to spray her off! Turned out it was not septic, she had rolled in oily black mushrooms! When I took her a second time to Petsmart, I didn't want her in the car, so I took the truck! She jumped out by Walgreen's! I had a heart attack and tried to get her back in! She scratched the door on the truck! They had to bathe her twice!

Halloween Dinner
I walked the plank to get to the laundry room! The hard part of all of this is making the kid's lunches in the morning!
I know this post has run-on sentences and is crazy, I had to just get it out!! The crazy thing is that it was the right decision for us to move here! Many life changing blessings will and are coming from it!
