What a Weekend!

I left Friday, April 10th for Time Out For Women in San Antonio! Josh had all the kids home! Trent did not feel well (headache and fever), Grant had a red, painful swollen testicle and Blake and Lydia had to go along for the ride! 

Trent went to a Stake Scout Camp that afternoon in Bastrop! (He would return Saturday with the Melanson's in time for Flag Football.)

Grant needed to go to the Pediatrician and I wasn't sure if I should go to TOFW! Josh wanted me to go!  Kim picked me up, Allison, Sabrina and Beth.  We went to Torchy's and hit the road! Right before these pictures were taken Josh called to let me know the Pediatrician was sending Grant to a kid's ER for an ultrasound! If there was no blood flow he would need surgery! I was upset!

Turns out, after waiting a long time, he had IV antiobiotics! Josh,of course, had everything under control, but I struggled being in San Antonio and away! (That is the short of the long of it! It was HARD for me!)

Lydia was so excited to go to Dads and Desserts at her pre-school! They ate and made a kite!

Easter

Easter was General Conference Weekend this year! Saturday morning Josh forgot he signed us up to clean the church! When he got the reminder text we ran over there, cleaned, hit McDonald's and ran home for the first session!  In between Josh ran to Costco for steaks and HEB for rolls! (HEB had been out on my previous shopping trips!)  The kids and I attempted a Crystal Falls Egg Hunt, the little kids (who got to go first) cleaned house in 5 minutes and there was nothing left! Saturday night during Priesthood the kids and I went to Mighty Fine! It was fun! Josh went to Serranos with Brendan, Adam, Bill and Bret! 

Sunday morning the kids hunted for eggs, then we started on breakfast! The missionaries came to have breakfast and watch conference with us!

Good Friday

The kids got Good Friday off so we went to Ink's Lake with the Benefields, Luncefords, and Leavitts!

Theo was Neutered

We had Theo neutered! Driving to get Trent from school, Lyd holding Theo, she said very sweetly, "Baby we are so sorry they took your balls out!" 

Waiting for Trent she cared for him, covered him and talked to him!

When we got home he wouldn't move! He would stand where ever we set him! I  felt bad and thought it was funny! We put him outside on the lawn, he just stood there! He was so sweet! Then he stood there and cried softly! It was sad! I had to give him his medication in cheese for 7 days!
