Luke is Home

Luke came home from the hospital today and we had to run by and see him on our way to Salt Lake!

Jill and I could not wait to get pictures of them together! Lydia wore her Mrs. Claus dress to welcome this precious Christmas baby!

Shot of the day by Mike!

Not posed, they did it on their own!
The boys really wanted a shot of Lydia in the antlers! She was not happy . . . so they were trying to make her happy!

LUKE

Luke Michael Simmons December 8, 20010 3:37pm 6 pounds 9 ounces

Jill's water broke at 12:10pm. Max and Claudia were in Park City. She called me and said she might need me, so I pulled Blake out of the bath, dressed him, shut off my shower, threw Lydia in her seat and headed them to the car. Jill called back for us to come get Austin. I got stopped in the dip by a construction stop sign guy, I was going crazy. Got to Jill's house, she looked GREAT and was calm. They jumped in and we headed to meet Mike at the gas station at Smiths. When we pulled up, I think the pain was starting!!! We are thrilled he is here!!!!

Live Nativity

Becker FHE: We went to the Live Nativity in Alpine! Eve got there early and waited in line for everyone. We took a bus up to the property, then walked up a path, waited in line and walked through Bethlehem city activities! Leaving the city (barn) we entered another smaller building with the Nativity! Afterwards they had hot chocolate and we hoofed it back to the pick up point! We rode in a horse trailer back to the cars. We ate cookies by Grandma Evelyn's car!! (Happened to see Jill where we were dropped off before walking up the path! Very fun!)

Thank you Beckee for this picture . . . Grant looking at Baby Jesus!

Saturday Night

Josh and I went to dinner while the boys were at Miss Tanya's house! McCarlie met us there and we chatted a bit, then he headed to a wedding reception!

I got this sweater and flower from Kid to Kid, the onsie from my mom! I was very excited the flower matched!!

Tonight was "P is for party." The boys made pigs, puppets and puzzles! Brinkley helped Blake sew his puppet! Trent's pig is saying, "Yo dog!"

Trent helped the kids write letters to Santa and decided to leave them under the tree. A kid at school told him to leave the letters under the tree and Santa would get them!

I washed a diaper today! Opened my washing machine and almost died!!

I was working on some birthday/Christmas presents this evening and got super glue all over my fingers. When they started sticking together I grabbed a paper towel to hold the little tube. I was able to get most of the paper towel off, but this feeling is going to drive me crazy!!!! The problem was puncturing the tube with the lid . . . as soon as I did it, super glue started coming out!

Becker Business

Grant was outside playing and a neighbor dog who wanders alot was in his Santa suit. Grant came home and told me, "Mom I told Sammy I want a bike and a skateboard and a candy cane." I laughed, very cute!
***
Lydia was dressed in a cream outfit from my mom. I held her up and said, "Lydia is going to be our cream angel this Christmas." Grant said, "Mom what are you going to dress me as for Christmas?"
***
I was singing Trent's piano song, "Love somebody yes I do, love somebody but I won't tell who." Blake said, "I love Austin, I will tell you Austin." But he did it in a sing song voice!!
***
Monday Grant said, "Mom now are you going to garlic the whale?" I finally figured out he was asking me if I was ready to put garland on the rail (railings.)

Goodbye

The Stevens moved into the basement the beginning of November. Our kids love them! Blake calls Annette "Nette" and Grant loves to tease her about drinking our lemonade. Chris and Annette have been so sweet with "Lyds!" They have dicided to divorce and Annette is flying back to Phoenix today. They have spent all week sorting through boxes and dividing stuff up! They bought the boys this "Bear Underwear" book! They thought it was a perfect Becker Boy gift! Too cute!! Chris will drive home Wednesday with his dad and a Uhaul! It broke my heart to say goodbye this morning!!
